Yoichiro YAGI

Yoichiro Yagi is a Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Graduate School of Management, Kagawa University in Shikoku Japan.He is interested in Leadership, Reflection, Mindfulness, Dialogue, Ba, Corporate Culture, Appriciative Inquiry and Positive Organizational Scholarship.

Volunteer and Public Service Activities:

02/2010 - Present:  Founder and President of “Social Ventures Shikoku”, a non-profit organization for creating creative change initiated by dialogue with multi-stakeholders in Shikoku region, which is increasingly becoming an aging society and faces challenges of recession. (Shikoku is the fourth largest island and located in west part of Japan.) Social Ventures Shikoku takes actions with those social issues by providing opportunities for dialogue, where participants can share their wisdoms and combine their strengths. Social Ventures Shikoku also provides opportunities to learn dialogue.

12/2011 - Present:  Board Member of “Miratuku”, which is established as a non-profit organization in order to cultivate innovation through dialogue for emerging future, peace, and creative society. Miratuku means “emerging future,” and originally started as “Dialog Bar,” which is community based.  Approximately 3,000 people participated in Dialog Bar in Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka. Miratuku also offers two to three-day sessions in order to incubate social action with dialogue. Five hundred people have already participated in the sessions.
